Scaffolding To FacadeSecuring Dangerous Building

92-93 francis st. 14 December 2009

Hegarty Demolition were called in by The Dangerous Buildings Section of Dublin City Council after it became apparent that 92 & 93 Francis Street were in imminent danger of collapse. A specialist crew with vast experience of just this type of scenario were immediately assembled and proceeded to secure the site, with the intention of saving these historic buildings. Temporary steel works were installed to secure the buildings from further movement which would inevitably have led to their total collapse pending decisions with regard to the future of these buildings.
