Croke Park

As part of the total redevelopment of GAA Headquarters at Croke Park, Hegarty Demolition carried out the demolition of the Cusack Stand which was originally built in 1937. The demolition and rebuilding of the Cusack Stand was Phase I of four phases begun in 1993 which culminated in the completion of the fabulous new stadium and museum which has in recent years also hosted soccer and rugby internationals and many concerts by international artists.
As part of this development, we also carried out the removal of both Hill 16 and Canal End terraces along with the realignment and lining of the Royal Canal passing underneath the new stand.
